Please come over to Oazo in Marunouchi on Monday December 5th for RIJ’s annual ‘Tree of Hope’

In this season of giving, RIJ will be ‘lighting up the life of a refugee child’.

The ceremony, which starts at 11am, will have speeches, a screening of a video, live concert singing, and of course, the ceremonial lighting of the tree.

From 12pm, there will be a reception at Panino Giusto, which will be a great opportunity to widen your social network, enjoy great food and drinks, all with a live music performance by a string quartet.

From 1pm to 6pm, there will be a variety of musical performances, including classical, choral and a cappella singing.

In previous years we have always been honored that Her Imperial Highness Akishinomiya performs the ceremonial tree lighting, to raise awareness of the plight of children affected by conflict. These children have got caught up in the insecurity and dangers of a problem that should not be their concern, and should be playing, studying and enjoying the thrills of growing up, rather than living in insecurity and hardship.

We expect this year’s event to be as wonderful and magical as previous years, so please join us!
